Canfield Soccer Club, Canfield Ohio, Welcome

The Canfield Soccer Club operates as a 501(c)3 organization here in Canfield Ohio.
Our Mission is to make the game Soccer available to any boy or girl ages 5 to 14.
We have (2) distinct leagues that allow for recreational play or competitive play.

The Recreational Summer League "Rec League" is for all boys and girls from Canfield
and the surrounding community. All games are played in Canfield during the months of
June through August. The coaches in this league emphasize equal playing time for
all players in a relaxed and "friendly" competitive atmosphere. There are usually
10 games in the season played week day nights at 6:00 or 7:15pm. Practice times
and dates are determined by each coach and are designed to be for the beginner.

The Competitive Spring and Fall Leagues are referred to "FC Canfield" or "The Traveling
League". This league is primarily for Canfield only players ages 8-14 however, coaches do have the flexibility to accept players outside of the Canfield community. The coaches in these leagues conduct tryouts and require attendance at practice. This league requires at high level of commitment from players and parents alike. The term "Traveling" refers
to fact that games are played in Canfield and on fields in the surrounding communities.

Recreational: $65/player Competitive: $165/player*

Register on or after May 1, 2009 until May 9, 2009
Recreational: $80/player Competitive: $180/player*

Register on May 10, 2009 until May 15, 2009
Recreational: $100/player Competitive: $200/player*

Note: Each player is required to purchase (3) raffle tickets at $5.00/each in addition to
the registration fee. This is to help fund our new fields that should be ready for play in 2010.

*The competitive fee includes a non-refundable admission to the Competitive Summer Camp
on August 3-7, 2009. All monies will be refunded if child does not make team.
